This 1ft x 1ft honeycomb breadboard has a core thicknesses of 1/2 in.
The aluminum (6061) skins are 3/16in. (5mm) thick and add 3/8in. (10mm) to the thickness of the entire breadboard. The skins are then coated with a black anti-reflective finish that is impervious to most chemicals. This finish absorbs or scatters more than 90% of light incident upon it.
