Base plates are commonly used for positioning and fastening our
PSH-series of Post Holders
to optical tables. Posts and post holders are attached using M6 cap screws placed through counterbores on the underside of the base plate.
This slotted mounting base plate is designed to be a stable method of mounting a post or post holder to the optical table. The mounting base plate has 3 bottom located counterbored clearance holes for M6 cap head screws. A relief cut has been added to the mounting plate to ensure flat, stable mounting to a variety of surfaces including breadboards and optical tables. Clearance slots allow flexible mounting to metric breadboards. This post holder base plate is compatible with metric tables, posts, and post holders.
