Base plates are commonly used for positioning and fastening our PH-series of Post Holders to optical tables. Posts and post holders are attached to the base plates via 1/4-20 cap screws placed through the bottom-located counterbores.

This radial slotted mounting base plate is designed to be a stable, rotatable method of mounting a post or post holder to the optical table. The mounting base plate has 3 counterbored clearance holes for 1/4-20 cap head screws located on the underside. Likewise, a relief cut has been added to ensure flat, stable mounting to a variety of surfaces including breadboards and optical tables. The two 90-degree radial clearance slots allow flexible mounting to Imperial breadboards and this base is compatible with Imperial tables, posts, and post holders.
