Base plates are commonly used for positioning and fastening our
PH-series of Post Holders
to optical tables.
This mounting base plate is designed to be a compact method of mounting an imperial or metric post or post holder to the optical table. The universal mounting base plate has a single, bottom-located counterbored clearance hole for a 1/4-20 (M6) cap head screw. This allows for easy mounting to the optical table or breadboard. A machined relief cut has been added to the mounting base plate to assure flat, stable mounting to a variety of surfaces including breadboards and optical tables. A 1/4-20 (M6) clearance slot is also provided to allow for easy mounting to the optical table or breadboard.
